Our story
South Coast Structural Repairs is a family-run business with over 30 years' experience repairing cracked, damaged, and deteriorating buildings across Hampshire, Dorset, and Sussex. We didn't get into this trade to do the same job the same way for three decades — we've always looked to adopt better methods as they've come along, and we invest the time and money to do that properly rather than stick with what's familiar.
SCSR works alongside our sister company, 1st Master Wall Ties, who specialise in wall tie replacement and repointing — including traditional lime repointing, which matters a great deal on the period and listed properties common across this part of the country. Where a job needs their specialism instead of ours, we say so and point you straight to them — and they do exactly the same for us when a job needs crack, concrete, or lintel work instead of theirs. It's the same company at heart, just two trading names built around what each side actually does best.
We also carry out a significant amount of work for local authorities — schools, public buildings, and civic spaces — alongside residential and commercial projects. That kind of work comes with its own scrutiny: procurement processes, safety standards, and accountability that a one-off domestic job doesn't always carry in the same way. We're proud that local authorities come back to us.
Every member of our team holds a CSCS card, and our supervisors hold SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification, with NVQ qualifications held across the team in their respective trades. We're also trained in the use of Sika concrete repair products — one of the industry's leading material systems, alongside the Fosroc range we use regularly on site.
We won't claim to be the best without giving you a reason to believe it — but between three decades of hands-on experience, a track record with public sector clients, and a genuine commitment to using the right fix rather than the easiest one, we think we're hard to beat south of London and along the coast.
